Why it matters,
As an immigrant who didn’t speak English until the first grade, I know firsthand how overwhelming and isolating language barriers can be especially in legal matters. From a young age, I became the voice for my family, friends, and members of our community, translating documents, interpreting at appointments, and helping them navigate complex systems. That early experience shaped my passion for language access and advocacy.
I bring valuable professional experience from my work as a Legal Secretary for the City Attorney’s Office in Arlington, Texas, as well as administrative support for the Department of Homeland Security’s Special Events Unit at the Arlington Police Department. Being fluent in English, Spanish and French allows me to provide comprehensive language access in diverse settings. Currently, I am pursuing a degree in Paralegal Studies to expand my legal expertise and enhance the quality of service I provide to my clients.
My work is grounded not only in professional training but in lived experience. I’ve personally navigated both family law and immigration processes, giving me a deep sense of commitment in providing language clarity to those I serve.
Whether I’m working with attorneys and their clients or individuals seeking help on their own, I strive to provide accurate, respectful, and culturally competent interpretation that supports fair outcomes.
I’m proud to use my voice to help others be heard.
